I am going to use 14 wire in .110 female quick disconnects. I am wondering if 5mm(1/4) double walled shrink tube 3 to 1 ratio with adhesive is a good shrink tube to use on these connectors. Or is that too tight..should it be just regular 2 to 1 without adhesive ?

You don't need adhesive to use shrinkwrap on these. I'd probably use around 1/8" tubing, something that just slips over the terminal connector.
What is the reason for the shrink tubing? Just to give the extra security of a good connection? There isn't really anything to worry about shorting out on the non ground strap side....
Yes...a good connection and some strength so they do not bend as easy.
