I have the Lionel NYC 2-8-0 consolidation from the 2008 Vol1 catalog.

It has TMCC, Rail sounds and cruse... But only 1 Chuff per revolution and a puffer not fan driven smoke.

So, Id like to upgrade this to fan smoke and 4 chuffs and my questions are:

Will a fan driven smoke unit fit in there? If so what unit to buy?

Is the Super Chuffer upgrade a good addition for lights and smoke?

What is needed to get the 4 chuffs per rev?

Is there someone recommended to do this work for me?

It's possible that it would all fit, but this is one of the units that I have to see inside to determine what will fit.  Pretty sure a smoke unit can be installed, it might be the LC+ steam unit, which does pretty good smoke, but something.  The wild card is if there's enough room somewhere around the motor and flywheel to install the Chuff-Generator for the four-chuffs, as well as space for the Super-Chuffer II.  The good thing is the Super-Chuffer II is smaller than the original, so there's more chance it will fit.

I have put all of this stuff in a semi-scale TMCC K-Line Berkshire, that should be a similar sized unit.
