What model? This unit may have an ACREG unit. Small PCB in heat shrink that controls the heating element via the TMCC commands. I would test continuity from pins through the heat element to ground before I threw away the smoke PCB. G
One easy test is check the voltage to the heater connections with the engine powered up and the smoke unit switched on. It should read about 3 VAC with the engine idle. If no voltage is present likely the ACRG is shot.
What does "(stuned)" mean?
Rod
Before replacing the smoke pcb, I would check for continuity from smoke to smoke grd. You know the fan works so that side is OK. I would suspect the item below.
I tested the volts it has none..That is why i am stuned. I have had cords switches motors go bad on these but never a pcb.. Except when someone put the base screw threw it on a ge hybrid...
"...I am stuned..." Huh?
I'm with Rod on this one...what does "stuned" mean? Never heard the word before.

Perhaps " stumped "
I'm just confused.
I think I agree with Bill, it sounds like the regulator board has died. I just ran across the same board dead in one.
I said regulator, Bill didn't. Bill is showing a smoke fan control PCB. I guess this is a Legacy engine with Vision Smoke unit. I wasn't sure what control system which is why I asked.
That is one expensive PCB for controlling Smoke fan.
Bill, does that board due more than just smoke fan as the description says? G
Pretty sure that board controls smoke unit fan and heaters.

What else does it do Bill, it has a lot of connectors. G

I think he ment stumped also stunned=To daze or render senseless, by or as if by a blow. 2. To overwhelm or daze with a loud noise. 3. To stupefy, as with the emotional impact of an experience; ...

We can start with two AC Hots, two AC Grds, two smoke on and off switches (main & aux), as needed, serial input, smoke resistor and fan motor out x2.
Bill
Yep, I forgot to mention this board controls two smoke units, the one I worked was the K4 with whistle smoke.

Thanks Bill. Liked like it did, I can see the 2 high Amp FETs. I assume all the outputs are DC with the Bridge. G
