A few questions about 2 bay hoppers. 1) does anybody know whether any hopper covers can be used with the Lionel offset 2 bay die cast hoppers ( ex Lionel 6-17069 MEC )-can anyone tell me the inside dimensions of those cars ( length and width). 2) another Lionel hopper question-the Lionel 2 bay covered hopper ( like the Lionel 6-173872 GN)-can the walkway around the top of the hopper be easily removed from the rest of the hopper cover? Obviously I am trying to jury rig a specific hopper type. Thanks, turtle7
