Something Train Shows and Public Layouts need.....

You have obviously never been to Trainfest in Milwaukee, nor any of the International Hobby Shows.

Those are too far north of me.  However, sounds like they have great planning!

However, the San Jac Meet in Stafford TX in the spring of the year does have seating in the "food court".

I can only heartily agree...my back won't take a long visit to any show unless I can sit down for short times. I would spend more time at the show...which usually translates into me spending more money...the very idea.

I have a combo lawn seat/Sun shade/cane that I can take to events with little or no seating.

It is designed for pro golf contests where viewers can follow the leaders around the course.

One has to be prepared for anything.

If you ever attend an NJ HiRailers event you will be pleased to find seating situated around the layout.   If you want you can relax in the kitchen area and enjoy vinny's home cooking

I will agree a good show will have an area to sit and relax for a minute........having prosthetic leg I need a sit now and then. But most show I have been to have some seating.
