I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet but It's time to order things for the
trains.
What I would like to do is put some LED Christmas lights on some rolling stock.
I'm leaning towards grain of wheat bulbs that flash or are animated.
I'm not having much luck finding anything. Can someone point me in the
right direction ?

Town and County Hobbies have some tradional sized LEDS which fit into traditonal sockets.
traditional sockets meaning what? like traditional christmas tree size? is he looking for small lights to string on cars?

hmm, i wonder, would they have something i could use to replace the lights in a passenger car without having to mess with the wiring?

I believe they are called Rice Lights. I have found a few,
but nothing animated....
