Thanks Don, Merry Christmas and the best in the New Year. Truly enjoyed the video, brought back many memories, the tinsile in the fresh Christmas trees, Noma lights, Woolworth's window decorating stencils with Bonami, the Christmas commercial store window displays, the O Gauge Lionel set my father gave me in 1955, celebrating Christmas with my parents(long deceased) and the happiness in being a kid in the mid 1950's with your childhood friends.

A little back story on this video. First I love old family pictures. The prized television in the living room that looks like a piece of furniture. Jim Sutter standing proud on Christmas day. Franks father looking like he was up all night getting the trains ready. NYC Fan's looking at Santa in wonderment. Jim  Mcgehee dressed in his Sunday finest for a Christmas picture.

When I started this video I was simply going to up grade the videos I had done for the last few Christmases. Then in November Vicky some friends and I went to Dukes to see Henry Kapono as we do almost every time he's on the island. He's one of our favorite singers here and a very sweet man that happens to like trains. He and his family were with me as we filmed what all of us thought was going to be the last run of the Sugar Cane Train. I had never heard him sing "Dreams" before and was thinking of Christmas. I told Vicky, this is almost a Christmas song. Next day I laid down his track of "Dreams" and started putting stock Christmas pictures to it. It was OK but didn't seem to have much feeling. That's when I thought of using the forum members. You guys made this video possible. This is a long way to say Thank You Very Much and Merry Christmas from Don & Vicky.DSC_2607
