I heard a Rumor PSC is dropping their steam engine parts line. Any Truth to that??? Kind of worried about my prospects of steam engine parts now. I know the March Meet will have lots of options, but I'd still like to not have to scrounge if I can order direct.

Have you tried calling PSC to confirm or deny the rumor?
Actually, Yes.
Unfortunately, I get the machine. I'm not sure if it was just circumstance or bad luck on my part.
I'm still trying. Just hoping someone else might have heard the same thing and had better luck with it.
How about the Wiseman Model service that dominates the O Scale Brass category on eBay? I got some satisfactory washout plugs from them. Dennis makes great lifting injectors and check valves, as well as lag clamps. And I think pumps and reversers are easy to get from Stevenson. Anything specific? I have stuff I will never use. I do use the common stuff.
Another source of steam loco parts is Stevenson Preservation Lines.

Great parts and great customer service, but they don't have everything I need for my locos. I wish PSC would at least catch up to the year 2000 and provide their catalog online.
It is just a rumor. I heard from PSC today and they say they are still doing steam parts. They also said they are still working on a PDF version of the catalog as well as print.
Another bit of info: Bob Stevenson has purchased the K&D Casting business so anything that came from Dennis Mashburn can now be had from Stevenson.
Will BTS offer parts once they get their building finished?

That is a huge relief. Thank you very much for taking the time to verify that.
I placed a large order for PSC steam loco castings with my local hobby shop right before Christmas and picked up the order to today 100% complete.

I have also not had any problems getting PSC parts from Ted at Rails Unlimited.
I f they don't have the part in stock - PSC will cast one for the order. This slightly revised business model may add some delay, but they will deliver.
