Stripped truck screw on new NW switcher

Picked up (literally) my new Lionel NW SP&S switch engine and the truck fell off. The screw holding it on has the threads on the end stripped. How can I get just a new screw without going through the Lionel return process again for it? It already went back once due to not running correctly out of the box. When I got it back the truck fell off ....

There was a note about the existing screws that were used for these trucks did not have enough thread engagement by design. I would replace it with one that is about 5 mm longer or 1/4 of an inch.
