Good Morning Everyone and Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers out there. I will start off with something I constructed in the past. Let's see what you have been working on.

I built this model, based on New Haven Railroad Signal Station SS22 at New Rochelle Junction (milepost 16), New York, from a kit by TW Trainworx of Dallas, Texas. The model was the subject of a construction article that I wrote in a recent issue of OGR magazine.

Happy Father's Day Gents!
I got started on the building flat this week. I glued up a few sheets of the same image and cut them to size. I'm using two layers to recess the window bays a little bit to give it some dimension. Hope to get some time today to continue.

Awesome bridge Steve.
Very nice towe Mel. I scratch built one of those a few years ago.
Some beautiful stuff posted!
I just completed building fronts for three customers and am working on a set for a fourth. The first front was a 'satisfying' build as the customers two sons are military - 30 years each, one in the Marines and the other in the Navy.
The next two have 1/2 inch Masonite sides. when I use sides I print the window treatments on vellum. It is hard to see through but yet works well with interior lighting.
The one below has interior lights
I am now working on a set of about 9 fronts. I will have more photos later in the week as most are in paint (black under coat). The one shown below is to be an apartment building when completed. I am waiting for word from the customer as to whether he has room to add sides to the 'wings'.

Thanks Alan.
I had considered building a New Haven tower for years but several things put me off - the ornate decorative exterior trim strip at second-floor level, the filigree wrought iron work on the staircase, the number shields on the four exterior corners, and even the roof.

Joe, those OGR builds look awesome. It's inspirational to see creative sectioning of the building fronts to create more interdimensional models.
SIRT, that's what I love about this thread on the forum, the attention to the minute details from prototype to get the models just right, as well as the talent to make everything photo quality. I've been staring at prototype photos all week to get my city structure just right, so I'm glad I'm not the only (maybe crazy) one.
Work continues on building shells. I figure it’ll look like progress if there’s a bunch of shells, rather than one finished building an a bunch of blank space. It also helps me figure out what it’ll look like, or if there’s room for more stuff.
This week I slapped together Korber MRS parts. Its a Ted’s Textile kit and then I bought an engine shed to use for parts to add on the side wall so the corner of the wall isn’t visible. This will be my take on a Grocery wholesale warehouse.
Still lots to work on, it’s a huge mess but here’s a satellite view of my pandemic project

Working on Atlantic Avenue, added a slight (5 degree) angle so all my streets aren't straight. Western Hobbycraft trolley in the foreground

Boilermaker, I'm a firm believer in "blocking" out the buildings before fine detailing. Your buildings look great also!
