God Morning Everyone
I will start off with a little project I did over the weekend constructing a truck loading rack. Let's see what you have been working on.

Alan- great job on the fuel depot. I like the view out your window too.
Pete- looks like a great train room.
Work continues on my Machine shop building. I glued three of the wall panels together and made some floors. Next up is to fit out the interiors and add some lighting. I'm going to build a loading dock since the one that is supplied with the kit is too small.
First dry fit of the kit.
Floor is printed on plain paper and glued to thin cardboard. The scale of the boards is too big but I'm OK with the look. Don't think much will be visible in such a small building.
Everyone have a great Sunday.
Yesterday I started a project to scenic a corner for the Modular layout my club operates in addition to our permanent layout. We had the structures and I laid out the corner piece. Just need to add some landscape material, grass, trees etc some vehicles and people. Clump foliage and grass will take care of the slight imperfections on the front edge bevel.
Should have this piece done this week
Great work Fella's. My wife just bought me my first airbrush. So I'm really looking forward to seeing what I can do with it. I build myself a foam board paint booth and have been practicing on any object not nailed or screwed down.
If anyone has any tips or thoughts to share, I'm all ears.

Here is the Admin Building for my recently competed Brewery. The kit is from AltoonaModelWorks and makes a nice addition to my layout.

Stay safe everyone. I hope model building will help to pass the time.
A New Haven Railroad Alco S-2 #0617 stops by the welding shack on my 12’-by-8’ layout. Built from a small, inexpensive kit.

Alan and all, Spectacular projects !! Really appreciate all the pictures. Alan it is always amazing to see how you build excellent structures in such a short amount of time.

Building has great character lines!!👍
Oh Flyboy62....I am all awestruck by the turret on the admin building! My office would HAVE TO be at that part of the building. And with a view such ad Alan Grazianos'...no offense...id rather be fishing...after building the truck fuel rack!

Don,
Catch up on the threads regarding reply with quote. Don't repeat photos. Rich doesn't like that.

A great way is to have someone with experience guide you but YouTube has several airbrushing "101" vids. They are helpful.

Dick,
The brewery looks great. I see that you separated the structures instead of having them together. It seems to work well.

Some really beautiful stuff this week!

I too just got a an air brush, brand new which I got as a gift. Have not used it as yet but I am concerned about the paints. I plan on using a filtered mask and ventilation. Curious what paints are you using because some when sprayed can be toxic just like a typical rattle can
Steve
Flyboy62,
That brick building with its turret is first rate. I very much like kits by Altoona Model Works and believe they offer built-up models as well. I wanted a large, multi-storey factory building on my 10’-by-5’ layout and built this one from one of their kits in 2015.
MELGAR
Very nice, Melgar, particularly the turret.
Arnold
Steve,
I read an article that explains besides true airbrush paint, one could also use Gouache or Acrilic watered down of course.
I got this case of Gouache from Michael's under $7 with their 40% coupon.
It seems to work well. I do not notice any fumes or odors.
Ron
That Admin building is very special! The rest of the thread's pretty nice also.
I have to concur with Myles on the Admin Building. It takes the top prize in the showcase this week. I give Mel an honorable mention on the factory building.
Great showcase everyone. Thank you all for contributing.
Hey Ron045 and L.I.Train, Createx makes non toxic airbrush paints in Opaque and Transparent that work wonderful in any type airbrush, (Dual or Single action) and they are water based. Gouache is more of a artistic paint mainly for water colors and might be too thin. Createx is strictly made by airbrush designers and can be used in airbrushing T-Shirts, modeling, portraiture, sculpting, land scaping models, even fingernails and tanning. They’re probably a little bit more expensive than a Gouache set, per bottle but if you go on the Createx site, they have a large selection of paints. I have never tried gouache before so I can’t speak on its quality or how it’ll perform with a airbrush or it’s covering capacity but I do know that Createx covers a lot of usage of different types of projects. I hope y’all are successful though whatever you choose to use. Take care - Marshelangelo
Everyone of these projects are beautifully done. I'm not that talented so its great to see others who are, like going to an art gallery.
Keep doing that thing you do
