I have a super chuffer and chuff generator on order for the Y6b. Just want to confirm its a direct hookup. Im using an ERR DC commander as the speed control.

If its not, then please let me know what needs done to make the PS1 fan driven unit work with the super chuffer.

I'm also confused by the led no load resistor statement, are you saying to connect the leds to the CC and SC with no load resistor?

Thanks

The only issue you'll run across is that for whatever reason, the AC and DC Commander doesn't bring the chuff out to one of the connector pins, instead they gave you a duplicate antenna connection!

The "fix" is to connect directly to the R2LC socket pin-17 for the chuff input to the DC Commander.  A small thing, but annoying just the same.

Great, thanks. Just to be clear, the mth ps1 fan smoke unit motor will connect to the super chuffer, will the heater connect to the CC?

So pin 17 of the r2lc to the super chuffer right? You said CC.

Thanks

The chuff is generated by the Chuff-Generator, it connects to pin-5 of the Super-Chuffer and to pin-17 of the R4LC socket on the DC Commander.  The smoke motor is wired to the Super-Chuffer and the AC input to the PS/1 smoke unit goes to the DC Commander Feature (smoke) output.
