Hello everyone,
Lots of people have asked me how I super elevated my track for my model railroad, so here is how I did it:
- Laid track and talked it down 50% of the way
- lifted track up slightly
- put toothpicks underneath the ties (the further in they are, the higher the elevation, and vise versa)
- pushed the track down over the toothpick
- nailed the track in 100% of the way
- balasted the track
This is an awesome and cheap way to add some special effects to your trackwork!
