SWITCH O72

Recently I had to replace a fastrack o72 Command Control Switch. For some reason, the light went out on it and it stopped switching. I put in a new switch like it. It is working fine now, however, I noticed that when my train runs over the switch, it monentarily slow down then returns to normal. The caboose light also blinks when it goes over the switch. Is something wrong? What do I need to do to correct this if anything. I do not notice this happening at any of the other switches I have on my layout.
