Ron,
For comparison, here's my MTH model which is listed as Railking, even though it has added-on handrails, sprung trucks, a conductor in the cupola, and other details typical of a Premier model.

Ron,
Here’s a closer comparison with your PRR N5C radiophone cabooses. The model is PRR #477926 with radiophone and antenna by MTH (20-91286, 2009, MSRP $59.95).

Erie-Lackawanna C308 on Tail End Tuesday
My first view on this Tail-End-Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 looks at the rear of the cab of New Haven Railroad Alco S-2 diesel switcher 0615 – an MTH Premier model (20-20587-1) delivered in 2016. At the tail-end of the train is New Haven caboose C-681 – an Atlas O model (6671) delivered in 2003. The entire train, including four New Haven steel boxcars with the McGinnis block NH logo, is also shown in the video taken on the O-36 (inner) loop of my 12’-by-8’ model railroad.

K-Line caboose, originally C&O. It was NIB at our last train show but nobody wanted it, so I took it home and repainted it. Since it already had R-Y-R markers, I made it an A.T.&S.F. waycar (Santa Fe purist will point out the markers should be R-Y-Y). The grain-o-wheat bulbs were replaced with 3mm. warm white bulbs from Evan Designs.
K-Line boom car, with brace, repainted and decaled by Krieglok, from the original factory Southern Pacific colors. Crane car original Lionel EL colors.
Here's the tail end of a Union Pacific Vandy tender.

Rob - beautiful cabooses. Please tell me why the caboose in the foreground has its marker lights on the end opposite the cupola? Thanks.
Photos and video show Boston & Maine northeastern caboose #433 (MTH 30-7740) on my 10’-by-5’ layout at the tail-end of a short train pulled by B&M USRA 0-8-0 steam switcher #617 (MTH 30-1184-1). The model caboose was delivered in 2000 at MSRP $39.95.

Thanks Gene!
The buildings are a part of the railroad scene that's especially important on a small layout to give the impression that the train, in this case on just 10'-by-5' oval of track, is going somewhere.

Your intention is very noticeable on many of your posts. You have a technique for this with excellent results.

Well something a little different today. A Hornby cattle / livestock train moves down the line and bringing up the rear is the hay wagon to provide feed for the critters' in route. The train will have to stop periodically to allow the cattle drovers to feed and water the animals and the "fiber" wagon provides a source of feed.

Here’s a shot of Jersey Central “northeastern” steel caboose #91524 bringing up the tail end of a mixed freight over Penobscot Mountain. This is a MTH Premier model that I custom painted, lettered, detailed and weathered several years ago. She’s well worn but still providing reliable service to the CNJ and her crew.

The tail end cab car of a Metro North Commuter train leaving Brewster, making stops at Southeast, Patterson, Pawling, Harlem Valley Wingdale, Dover Plains, Tenmile River and Wassaic (I can still hear that announcement in my head!!!). I believe, at Wassaic, you can catch connecting service to Anaheim, Azusa, and Cucamonga
Here's the tail end of my Santa Fe EV caboose.

I went back to page 1 looking to see who starts Tail End Tuesday. I hope I’m not stepping on any toes here. Since you’ve all been so good I asked Conductor Joe Jones to let you ride in the cupola. So here’s my Tail End topside.
