Taking apart lionel L2a mohawk

Has anyone taken apart one of the L2A mohawks yet? Trying to quiet a whining smoke unit but I'm having trouble finding the last screw in the front of the boiler to take the shell off.

The front screw is just forward of the stack on the underside. The pilot truck front support may be hiding it. If you remove the screw and still feel resistance it may be the handrails stuck in the pilot or just the front post. Just wiggle it around a bit.
