Charlie, I forgot to take licensing fees into account.

This is a nice piece, but how about getting back to some new rolling stock, Menards? I venture to say there is much greater interest in new rolling stock than there are people who have layouts with room/interest for your ever-increasing number of large buildings.
I like it! A lot!
Nice building , they are still sticking to county suites I see. Maybe it will be worth a few bucks in 20 to 30 years, sorry I cannot wait that long.
Very nice, we all need some rest after the long drive to find this hotel! ;-)
I plan to rebrand mine to a Holiday Inn though.
WOW...to modern for me.....but what a great building and a real deal.......Menard's just keeps them coming.

Since the building has a lighted sign would you cover or remove it? When you're done I would love to see a picture of it.

That is a problem, not sure at this point. Will evaluate once I get one of these. Im sure licensing prevented Menards from offering changeable brand signs as they sometimes do. Imagine how cool a lighted retro Holiday Inn would be. I used to push Miller Engineering to make a Holiday Inn sign but they always reply it is too specific a sign and limited use.
Very nice building. Nice size too. At lot of building in that space configuration. I know there were motor inns like that in the 1950's. Some slight modifications and it might fit my era, the 1950's . I am sure one or two of the clever forum members have or could figure out way to change the sign. Hopefully they will post.
