Hi everyone- I would like to test several stand-alone motors not connected. What are the proper "touch points" on the motors using small powered alligator clips to get them to run?
A picture or drawing would be useful .

You can generally operate most any postwar motor directly by following this schematic (ignoring the headlight if you wish)
For the F3 Horizontal Motor, independent test wiring can look like this:
