The 3rd edition is a major overhaul of the book and adds 24 additional pages and more figures.
It's much more than just an update and must be purchased as a new book.

Barry, excellent overhaul. I have printed off the wifi section to study and am anticipating the 'experience' when the rest of the 'stuff' is available. Quick question: will a split screen scenario seaimlessly function (ie; engine control screen with engine feature screen) when using the app? Thanks

I'm not certain that I understand your question.
Sorry for the confusion. I have a split screen app for my iPad mini. Could I have 2 screens from the MTH app side by each (my initial question)and 'function tap'from one to the other? Remember there's no such thing as a stupid question, but we need a carefull answer. (Lol)

The password is the same one that you created when you logged into Shopatron to purchase the eBook.
If you don't remember your Shopatron password, this should make things right. It's long but not difficult:

In that case, I expect that you purchased the 3rd edition from OGR, rather than from MTH. You'll have to send an E-mail to OGR, requesting that they sort things out for you.

Tried that with a few of the eBook editions. Unfortunately, the Shopatron/Kibo publishing software always strips it out.

Buying 2 is a great idea. As I mentioned to Barry during the meeting in York. Always good to have a copy of his book in the bathroom. It is always a good response when Barry ask you "did you buy and read my book?" Just having fun Barry.
Bryant, there are specialty papers that are much softer.
