I heard Mike say in an interview he will contine to do new product videos from NC.

 

Oh come on Marty! I think they should still let you tryout! Yes videos will continue. They will shoot in NC and then will upload to an FTP site and Phil will edit in Ohio. What kind of company would Lionel be without Mike's lovely face on video?

I don't have an insider info, but I assume the video features will continue.  They are very informative, and Mike and his crew have done a fine job with them.

I was hoping those months at hand model school would have finally paid off.

Marty would be a big asset to Lionel in assisting Mike in producing product videos.  Marty's "hands on" video's relating to Lionel Legacy operating systems helped me through sometimes confusing manual instructions.  When you see on video step by step input for the Cab-1 it makes it so easy to do yourself.  Thanks Marty, your video's were a life saver for me.

For a guy that's "in the business" I used some pretty crappy video techniques and equipment but they got the point across.

 

I wish I had more time and a better setup to do more.

Mike's interview was on Notch 6 podcast with Derek Thomas.

Mike said the backdrop might change but videos would continue but he would record them in NC.

Yeah.  I started listening to that Podcast but got interrupted and never finished.

I enjoy the product video's they do, not just the locomotive one's. The technical ones can be a good wealth of knowledge as well.

 

 

My only complaint is I'm still waiting on the 6-ou812 Expander Paste.
