I was watching Trains and Locomotives tonight and was treated with some great video of the Reading 4-8-4 2102.

Never even knew it was still around! 

Nice video. It was great that the Blue Mountain and Reading were able to provide a last tribute to these giant T-1s.

I rode on one of the trips to Gettysburg in the late nineties.

The engine was in poor operating condition, the booster was non-operational and the train actually stalled on the line leading up into Gettysburg..

The Gettysburg Scenic railroad sent down an RS-3, I believe, to assist the train into Gettysburg.

 

We were about three hours late in that trip getting back to Temple.
