Those darn trains keep getting in the way.

Yep, it's more fun to run the trains than anything else!

It's been exactly 10 years since I started on my 10x16 layout (which is merely but a fraction of what I've seen of yours Gary).

I'm not even halfway with the scenery because of the distraction of running trains.

That's ok, I'll take it. Sure beats losing interest.

First thing  I did this morning was turn on all the lights on my layout, make coffee and run my trains. My layout lights were my Xmas decorations.

Just tell yourself,

"This a fun hobby not a paid job."

A model layout is never done, until you tear it down to build another.

Same problem here. The only saving grace right now is that I don't have a home layout. Did manage to fix a locomotive for one of the AGHR Kids but still have a list of projects to work on.
