Sure, every train dealer want to sell products already in his/her inventory on the shelf. This is a THUMBS UP to a dealer in my region who went above and way beyond the call of duty and found a hard-to-find loco for me: a MTH Alco DL-109 in Rock Island décor: Craig Christiansen at Arkansas Traveler Hobbies in Bald Knob, AR.

Since Craig didn't make any money on this deal (done through a train museum in North Carolina), I voluntarily sent him a finder's fee with appreciation of his time and effort. Dealers who go the extra mile deserve to be patronized by thoughtful hobbyists who understand the benefit of shopping for items and buying stuff at a favored dealer who provides SERVICE as well as making a SALE.
