I have an mth f3 A unit that was converted over to electric rr. I was thinking of getting another lionel f3 A unit with tmcc and the older odyseey cruize in it. my question is how well would these engines run in a lash up together ? each A unit has two motors by the way.

From my experience the two systems do not work together. I recall that Odyssey doesn't work with other cruse systems so at the least it has to be turned off. And the ERR cruse doesn't use timing tapes. The number of steps built into the throttle programs are different as well.
I'm sure someone like Gunrunner John can explain it better than I can, but that's the gist of it.

Not well, they have two totally different speed step profiles. I'd just upgrade the F3 with a Cruise Commander M replacement for the Odyssey DCDS, then they should play nice together.
