Hey so I'm having another issue with my TMCC in general, while holding down the whistle, the whistle plays multiple times instead of just staying held out, is there a way to fix this? or is this something I just have to live with?

as far as I have experienced, of course the horn will keep going as long as you hold the button down. I don't think it "stays down" after one press.
My offhand guess is the whistle button is getting flaky on the controller. Does this happen in other locations or with another CAB1 controller?
Yeah, it sounds like it's sticking. You did day it isn't bouncing back up or similar, 'not staying held out'. I don't know what keeps them bouncing back, so to speak. Is it the button itself, or something underneath? I've got 2 old cab1s. One lost that button. It was loose. I'll not like it when I have to switch to a new system, Cab1L, all this stuff works great in TMCC. Keeping a sound Cab1 working may be the weak point.
The membrane keyboard keys do the "bouncing back", it's all in that rubber keypad.
So its the button on the remote and not anything else? How would I fix this?
There was a discussion about a membrane keypad fix kit that re-coats the buttons, do a forum search. That's the likely cause of the issue.
