I am trying to verify some info I got from Lionel this AM. The TPC manual is unclear to me.
The situation I asked about - Two TPCs connected to one BPC with four blocks.
When power from the transformer is shut off, will the TPC retain its settings or must the
be re-established each time power set turned on.
Advice appreciated.

Hi Ralph. When the Power to the TPC is turned off the settings that are saved are weather is starts up in Command or Conventional mode and any Maximum Voltage that was set.

Steve, Just a added note Steve is correct. It's on page 10 for Command environment and on page 13 for the conventional environment of the TPC controller manual.
Ralph, I have 3 TPC-300's wired in daisy to my Legacy 990; with 3 separate track runs. One powered with a 180 watt power brick, one with a 135 watt power brick, one with a 110 watt Transformer. For the most part; all the engines I have programmed on each track stay that way. I don't have to re-program them at all even after I have shut them down and powered them back up. Don't know if this is what your looking for.
Once you address your TPC as to have it in command or conventional mode of operation, you press SET on your cab-1 or cab-2 and that makes it saved in those settings.
If you change those settings from one to the other and do NOT press SET, when you turn off the power, I believe the TPC booklet says that the TPC reverts back to command mode.
