Where can I get the best traction tires that stick to the track good. I have some engines that have allot of hours on and the tires are shinny and just spin. I tried cleaning them with track cleaner and got allot of black off them. Back on the track and they were no better. Any suggestions would be appreciated and thanks for the help.

It may come as a surprise, but just because the traction tires look shiny, that doesn't automatically mean they'll slip. I use MTH tires on a lot of locomotives, simply because I have a good stock of them in all sizes. I've had no complaints with those or Lionel tires. The one issue with some Lionel tires is they're too thick and they sometimes bind on the fake brake shoes for certain locomotives.
thanks jon where can I get a bunch of asst tires. does mth sell assortments to customers if you call midge?
You can buy any size you like in any quantity. I keep most of the sizes around for when I need them.
