Train board looping and skipping sounds | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have a PS2 subway engine, with a 3 Volt board that keeps looping sounds randomly, cant cycle properly through neutral / foward / reverse. Sometime for brief moments itll run properly but then itll just start palying random sound clips or skip through sound clips its suppose to be playing. I changed the battery and the issue is still occuring. is the board dead?

Do a factory reset. Are you operating DCS or conventional? G

DCS can't find the train, while in conventional mode I can't reset it, it can't read the signal

Try a recover engine with DCS. In the menu for adding engine, but scroll down, but make sure you have a good battery installed. G
