I’m down in the outer banks for vacation. Any decent local train shops in the area worth checking out?

Peter you better enjoy the beach. We have a place at Southern Shores.
Nada on trains without a long drive.
But the cobia, mahi, and tuna fishing has been good lately.
Hey!....that’s right in my back yard!.....I’m 30 minutes from the outer banks....unfortunately on the beach, there’s no place anymore that deals in model railroad stuff,......they’re used to be two places, but they long since closed up.....if you are coming from the north heading south, stop in Norfolk Va at Dales Train Station......BIG PLACE! Lots of stuff, lots to root through too.....I worked for the Town of Nags Head for a long long .....long time!.......enjoy your stay.....cool place to visit!...............Pat
BTW, I will be going to Arizona/ Vegas this July. Are there any train shops recommended in any of those cities?
