Trying to get back to command

I suspect that you turned from theDCS signal to all channels. If so, do the following to turn the signal back on:

• Enter: Menu, System, DCS Setup and press the AON soft key.

This and a whole lot more is all in “The DCS Companion 3rd Edition!" This book is available from many fine OGR advertisers and forum sponsors, or as an eBook or a printed book at OGR’s web store!

It didn't work. When i go to the more menu and scroll down to number 30 which is where it says conv, i push the select button and the engine takes off and then push it a second time and command comes up but it doesn't change, it stays in conv

Did you press the startup button on the remote?

Thanks for the input, but the problem is solved now thanks to a MTH repair tech in the Ottawa area.

I am new to this dcs system. I have only had it for 2 days. I just did what he told me to do over the phone and I don't remember everything I did. I'm learning as I go.

I think he probably told you what Barry told you.

There is also  a conventional & legacy mode" soft key " under the "more".          when pressed this  adds a little excitement.(run a way)

I tried what Barry instructed and it didn't change anything. But as I said I'm just a newbie to dcs but I'll get on to it soon. It nice to know that I have you guys here on the forum to help if I run into any problems. Thanx.

When I was "new to DCS", and long before Barry's book, I pretty much kept referring to the MTH DCS manual that came with the Hand held and TIU set. Eventually that MTH DCS manual was revised and seriously up-dated, and I still refer to it from time to time. For what it's worth, you might try reading the MTH DCS manual that came in the box with your set.

This was not a new set and didn't come with the manual.
