Two lash up units start at the same time when only one is actvated. The reading on both indicate TIU 1 and AIU 0. One is on the inactive list and according to the manual, should be moved to the active list but how do you do that?

When I have oddball issues in a lash-up, I put one on the track, start it up, and do a factory reset. Repeat with the second one. Then you can add them individually and create the lash-up again.
Don't try to add engines to the remote with multiple engines on the track, that sometimes causes issues for a proper add.
