I have the UP propane turbine on order. MTH had predicted that the propane turbine would ship in January 2014. The propane turbine still hasn't shipped, however. On Tuesday, March 25, I e-mailed MTH and asked about the current delivery date. MTH responded yesterday, indicating that the propane turbine will now ship in June 2014. Apparently, as a result of my inquiry, MTH updated its web site to reflect the new predicted shipping date. http://www.mthtrains.com/content/20-20359-1
There's a bunch of MTH products that have been put back to June delivery. I have the South Shore Little Joe and the South Shore Madison cars on order from an LHR. They were expecting the cars last month and the engine in May, now both show on MTH's website as June.
This is par for the course with MTH. I have learned to live with it although it is galling to see it happen so regularly without any explanation. I think there was over a year of delays with the PS2 version of the UP Coal Turbine I have - really annoying.
