Update for Universal remote?

I was wondering if there was a way to update the Lionel universal remote via android. I can't seem to find anything on the internet addressing the issue. The directions with the remote say it can be updated using Android or iphone. The Play Store for Android has no apps listed for the universal remote. Is there any way to check / update the universal remote for the latest version?

I don't see the updater currently on the Play Store but if your remote is a V 1.3 it's up to date.
