Update on NLOE Club Cars - Nathans Reefer, LIRR PS-1 Boxcar and 2014 Double Sheathed Boxcar UPDATE 2/26/14

Thanks for the update.  Can't wait to get the Nathan's Reefer.

That Nathan's reefer looks mighty nice!!!  Aside from the fact that reefers are more appropriate for a steam-era pike...  that's one of the brightest paint schemed cars that I've seen that would be a perfect match behind the NS Heritage Illinois Terminal locomotive (done in shiny lolly-pop green paint).  Can you imagine a whole train of those???

I ordered 6 of the Nathans cars and they'll go nicely with the Lionel "Bill board reefers" from the MPC era that I bought because they looked so good.  Steam, diesel, prototypical, that doesn't matter to me, when it comes to trains I think "toys."

Just wondering if the Nathan's reefers have been received and/or shipped yet.

I'm looking forward to the pair I ordered!!  I'll be grilling a couple of Nathan's ¼ lb. dogs when I run them.  

Anxious to get my Nathan's Hot Dog Reefer. Hope they add a knish car. 

Boars Head or Drakes Cakes (Devil Dog) would be neat.  As a kid I remember going to Meat Farms on Long Island in East Islip. I don't think that was a very large grocery store chain. Possibility?

Last info I have is about two weeks old. At that time they had not yet arrived at Lionel's facility in NC. I'm hoping to get an update soon and will post as soon as I have something.

The cars are cooked, just waiting on the sauerkraut.

Thanks John!  Almost forgot the kraut, but I'll have the Gulden's and some pickle relish ready.

UPDATE!

The Nathans cars are in Lionel's facility in NC and are scheduled to ship out to us week of Feb 1, next week.

Expect to see cars arriving on your doorstep 2nd/3rd week of February.

Update!

Both the Nathans Reefers and the LIRR PS-1 Boxcars have arrived on Long Island. Shipping has already begun and will continue until all pre-orders are shipped. This is expected to take the rest of this week and possibly part of next week. I will confirm here again once all orders have been shipped.
