Recently I have seen some videos with steam and diesel engines sitting on the track and blowing smoke out like I have never seen before. I talking so much smoke that it would full the room in a few minutes. What is it? and where can I get one? If any body has a video of such a smoke unit please show it. Who makes them?

They're called fan-driven smoke units, vs. the "puffer" types most of the lower-end Lionel stuff comes with.
Not sure where you get them but at least you know what they're called now.
Here you are.
Thanks

Now this is cool.
Thank's Joe.....
You can add an MTH smoke unit to many locomotives and get similar smoke.
Thank's John. I LOVE SMOKE. I'am like a kid in a toy store,I won't everything I see.
I have Lionel and MTH units available for sale. You just need to specify your application so you get the correct one or best fit. E-mail in profile. G

Joe;
Now that is some serious smoke.
Best done when the wife is out for the day!

It is so thick you cant see the puffing. what size of fluid chamber is in the engine.
Being a 'G' loco, I imagine it's pretty big.
I read the description, and found his "how did I do it" video. Then I read the comments. You may not want to fool with what he's using as smoke fluid. We've been warned not to try it here.
