I started working on these this week. I think I'm going to fix the pilots and install Kadees. I'll post some more pics as things progress.

Neat project. they will make a nice set to run together. Surprisingly attractive in that shade of blue - I never realized that.
These look great, looking forward to seeing them finished! I have to wonder if a bunch more Kadee's are in your future?
Jeff
Dave,
Switchers are my favorite locomotives, these look fabulous! Why did the URR have the walkways on the cab roof (I like them)?
Malcolm
Malcolm,
They ran the sanding tubes to the roof. Don't know why????
The URR caboose you made for me is going to look great behind these engines!
Dave
Really neat project, Dave.
Dave...I know this will be another of your fine projects....thanks!
Alan
Very cool, Dave!!
Looks like the real deal Dave! Don't forget the picnic cooler!
Stack
Very cool as usual Dave. Just saw a set headed out with Hoppers last night in North Bessemer. " my back yard " and the UNION RR still runs a caboose making it an even better sight.
Wow .... those are really, really nice!
Very cool little RR, too.
Dave they look really nice!!! PS. My favorite switcher is a mp15dc.
Great work Dave!
Dave,
Great job. You have to stop tormenting me with these projects of yours!!! I have the Union RR slag train running at the Kennywood Pittsburgh Independent Hi Railers display this year that Andy showed in a few photos and videos about a week ago. Have a few projects in mind.
Nick
Thanks for the kind words. Here are a few more. I have some pilot work to do but I can't resist running them around today.
Dave
Dave,
They look very nice! A nice addition to your industrial area.
BTW, I heard a mutual friend gave you a call about a starter set for his son.
Sure do look nice, Dave!!
Larry
Thank you for sharing these diesels with us. Great job David. The Bessemer and Lake Erie diesel caught my eye too. Merry Christmas.
Dude, you rock!!!
Well, actually you did rock. For real. Perhaps you still do...
Regardless, these look great! I LOVE the mill buildings. I pass the empty hulks of these exact buildings on my way to a business partner's HQ every so often. Makes me wonder what life was like "back in the day" when they were kicking!
Guess I was "Born Too Late"...
Get it? See what I did there?
Very nice indeed. Merry Christmas!
Really nice work, Dave!
