Using the original CAB 1 and base with a TIU Rev L | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi all, I am using a Rev L TIU version 6 with the WIU and the Apple iOS MTH App. It is working well. I was just given a new in box original CAB 1 base and remote that has never been used. Is there any means of connecting the older TMCC CAB 1 base to the TIU and have the MTH app control it? If so what cable do I need and what precautions and limitations should I be aware of? I have a few older TMCC locos that I would like to use if possible.

Frank,

Just connect the TMCC Command Base's serial port to the TIU's serial port with MTH #50-1032 cable.

MTh cable between CAB1 base and TIU

Lug on command base to ground (outside rail) on track

fire extinguisher handy
