Same here; mine came yesterday and they are both white. I also noticed the headlights are lit on top instead of the bottom when it's in forward. Here is the prototype.
well thats not good new. It had to be an oversight that MTH should fix. Who wants head light while in reverse? so much for quality control. Steve's right, it keeps gettng worse.

We have to start calling MTH and ask for RA #'s. They will do nothing unless we start to bark. My original set has the red lights on top and white headlights on bottom.
When in reverse the top red lights go on. How could they screw this up when all they had to do is look at the first set.
What they should do is just send me the red lenses I'll put them in, they must have the part in stock from the first set. I would call Midge but why should I pay for them I have laid out more than $400 bucks already.

i already called mth they told me as of now their is no fix
the mth rep told me they don't use red led that they use white and they have red lens in the shell
Im on board to bark back. I ordered 2 sets. How do they keep jacking these sets up? Quite annoying already..
Greg, what did MTH have to say? Are they going to stand behind it and make the fix? Oe send up the right color LED's?
I have to wait till 12 noon EST to call customer service.
Called and talked to MTH said no fix yet but call back and talk to a tech on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Techs don't take phone calls on Monday or Friday.
I said simple fix are red lenses, MTH said they don't have them!!!!
Which I can't believe, the first 142A set(30-2797-1) has them, you mean to tell me they don't have the spare red lens part for them. How much can these lenses cost?
Also customer service said I was only the second person with this complaint to call so everybody has to call and get on board with this. If only two people complain they won't do anything. MTH service 410 381 2580
