I've got a 150 & a 154, both are excellent running engines. Not sure how good they would look with an 820, I only have single truck O gauge freight.

I found out recently the "peacock" colored 150's fetch a hefty price. Probably could have sold it as is and bought something much nicer, but it makes a pretty cool little mining locomotive.

Not sure why you want to avoid Ebay, there are always great prices there (16 year Ebay veteran).

That's the size loco these were designed for, so they'll look good together.

If you want to build sets as they actually were marketed;

The 152 came in a catalogued set (#163, c1917-23) with the 820 and 822.

Add a second 820 to make sets;
#165, c1917-23, with a 154 loco
or
#265, c1924, with an early 253 loco.

There are details in the cars and locos that date them to specific production years, post a photo and you can get some feedback on that.

If you're looking for an original 152, I've got a couple that will be going up for sale in the next month or so, let me know if you're looking for something in the C6-C7 range.

When you are ready to sell, let me know. I am interested in any condition as long as it runs OK.

Thanks,

Nick

Here's one I have that is going up for sale. It's in decent shape, all stampings are there, just a little faded. Would benefit from a good cleaning (take it apart and clean it well and lubricate everything) not hard to do. I did a quick oil and put in on the track, runs like a bugger!  I'll look up the details of the vintage etc.

If interested email me.
