ok, the following forum members have recently resulted in 3 months of purchases, not including the damage they have did to my wallet in previous years:

All due to their knowledge, reviews, photo's, videos, and otherwise incredible enthusiasm combined with my layout approaching completion.

By the way, if I left anyone out, I will add them so my wife and 2 dogs can hunt you guys down for delaying purchases of new window blinds, a deck, and more dog bones.

In no particular order:

If you have an asterisk next to your name, that means my wife has already associated you with my purchases somehow!

Also, the FedEx delivery man, might be upset at you all too, the poor guy made 3 deliveries in a row this week, two of which came after the "Dog Incident", in which one of my two Siberian Huskies knocked down the doggie gate and got onto my front porch, just in time to jump on him, and smudge his eyeglasses.

Fortunately, when I apologized today, he said he was fine and that he is used to it.

Seems my dogs associate any brown box delivered to my house as a "possible" dog bone delivery, since I order mine from "Best Bully Sticks".

So there you have it!

If you are not on the above list, that means I either forgot to list you, or you are lucky!

Hey Chipset,

Can you add 3railmike to the list for me?

As I may have to hunt him down soon about the purchase of some MTH hopper cars.

I would send Flipper the Dolphin but he only does aquatic stuff.

My cats are not trained for cold weather as yet, but I think I will start with the little one. They do almost anything for some kitty treats.

The forum only provides enthusiasm and perhaps more incentive to spend. Most of us developed the addictive compulsive disorder long ago. On one hand it can be said that you only live once so enjoy but the other question is how many trains do you really need?? Although I have toned things down of late, something new or old always grabs my interest. Even if it is built and you wish to improve your layout there is always the opportunity to spend thousands more in adding scenery detail, lighting and operating accessories. It never stops!

Do I owe you, your wife or your dogs an apology?  The last thing I wanna do is upset somebodys wife or dog(s).

Just one of a few of your posts, but this one with your posts of those beautiful Santa Fe Warbonnets sent me into Santa Fe mode, as I have no "new" Santa Fe warbonnets at all.

Just some vintage post war I do not run.

Beautiful pooches, Chipset! You (and they) are lucky!

I don't have another dog yet, but will definitely have another one in the not-too-distant future (she or he will be a rescue). In the meantime, I volunteer at a local shelter several days a week where I can help find forever homes for other deserving dogs and cats. Unfortunately, there never is a shortage.

Chipset,

That is a very funny post!  I could list a few members of this Forum who have been harmful to my wallet too!  I keep thinking of more of them as I type this.  In fact, since I didn't go out today, I never shoveled the driveway and sidewalk, and my friendly neighborhood mail man had to trudge in to drop off a package.  No, it wasn't something I purchased for my wife in celebration of our 30th anniversary next weekend either.  I still have to get that one.

However, I can not blame any Forum members.  I am responsible for my own actions.  Yes, it has been fun!
