I am getting the WBB PRR shark nose from Pat's Trains. In terms of size, what PRR passenger cars would look best with this loco? I am not into rivet counting or scale fidelity by any means, I just want a set of passenger cars that would look good behind these diesels.

18" or longer looks best. FYI, the WBB PRR sharks were Freight engines and are better looking behind a long coal drag. HOwever if you are using them as a truncated BP20 then 18" or more look good.
when i had my sharks, I usually used them behind a string of 10 weaver or MTH coal hoppers, followed by an N8 on the rear. When I did use them for passenger service, I had MTH RailKing passenger cars behind them & it looked pretty nice
The BF15 Shark Nose diesels were delivered to the PRR in 1949/1950 in the 5-stripe passenger paint scheme, which would indicate to me the PRR initially planned to used them for passenger service. However they turned out to be better doing "lugging" assignments than speed assignments, which is why I think the PRR assigned them to freight service (plus the fact they had reliability issues).
Since these are scale/near scale size I think they would look good pulling either 18" heavyweights or lightweights. I probably would run heavyweights and say the PRR needed the Sharks for commuter service or an accommodation train with several head end cars. As they say, it is your railroad.

If you have the O72 curves, the 18 inch cars would be fine. For shorter radius, probably the 15 inch passenger cars would look best. when you have them running post a few photos.
