While visiting some friends in the Atlanta area, we drove past Trainz, an OGR Forum Sponsor. So we visited the folks at Trainz, great folks, a Huge Warehouse, 75,000 square feet and new to them. Happy Railroading Everyone.

When I visited Trainz in their old location about ten or so years ago, I got a similar treatment. I had just moved to Chester and had won a group of four Custom Brass 0 scale PRR MP-54s. I noted that one, they allowed a pick-up in person; and two, the total for shipping was quite a bit more than my gas would cost for about a three-hundred mile round trip. So off I went, I got there just in time for the lunch-hour closing so went up the street to a Subway for lunch. I got back by the time that they opened and picked up my stuff plus a few small items that were out front on sale. As I recall, the owner was away for a train show so we did not meet. Someday, I would like to visit the new place I had no idea that it is as large as it is!

@leapinlarry, thanks for sharing Larry, I'm glad you had a great time.  Seeing how big the place is, and the enormity of incoming stock, note those Home Depot boxes, the layout, and the display cases behind the layout, Scott and company must have one really good inventory and "catalog" system to keep track of and locate all the items in stock.  It amazes me that every order I've ever placed has shipped in less than 24 hours of completing the order.
