I don't know if decals have ever been offered for the Mississippi Central (PS1 Boxcar shown):

I'm not sure about the herald being just white or with the black background, looks like there was both from these photos.

I have only started to look into this, but I am interested in Pennsy caboose decals.  I did not see them.  While the PRR Keystone may be available already somewhere else, I think it would be a popular item for you to produce.

Also (you gonna get tired of me real quick ), Microscale used to offer stripes for Seaboard Air Line F units.  Stripes like this, at least the main yellow stripe, could be painted on, but then the smaller 2" wide orange stripes would have to be added as well (MS did offer the yellow w/orange stripes at one time plus the other lettering & 21-3/16" diameter herald that went with it):

The problem I had with the Microscale decals was they didn't put enough in the pack to do the job, so 2 packs had to be ordered to do the stripes for one engine.

I know I have the size data around here somewhere, just have to dig it out.

That's a good price. I've been trolling eBay for Microscale sets and have been paying between $9.50 ant $11.50/set for Santa Fe sets.

I'm a newcomer to the repaint/re-decal set, so I don't know what my needs will be, but perhaps a survey of what people are modeling would help. Also, generic O scale (aka commercial/private livery/leasing) for freight cars might be a good area to look at.

I would buy sets with the Green Bay & Western red herald, in the larger size for cabooses and freight cars and a smaller size for flat cars. They used to be available from a small company in Wisconsin, but the maker left the decal business several years ago. I am not sure how much demand there is for GB&W, but there are a few of us.

Ah yes, excellent question.  I am interested in RED & WHITE myself.

How about N Y Oand W decals, nobody makes these, just the heralds will do that way it could be used for steam or  any other engine. 

I would be interested in New York Central Steam engine decals in both early Roman and later Gothic styles. Microscale seems to be phasing out of O Scale and the old Champ decals are deteriorating with age.

I am a bit surprised that after as much moaning & groaning over the lack of NYC steam loco decals, more people haven't chimed in here!!!

Anything Jersey Central would be my vote!  A good start would be a set of Northeast-style steel caboose decals--including the CNJ's signature orange "target" circle on both ends of the cupola--as the only ones I know of were dry transfers made by CDS Lettering...and they are REALLY tough to find anymore!  And yes, about $10 per set would be acceptable.

I would be interested in some NYC steam engine decals and also some diesel decals of the "cigar band scheme".

NYC steam and diesel fans, do what JoeyA did for his CNJ--post some pictures of what you want, specifically.  Make it easier for Dave/LBR to know exactly what it is you NYC fans want. 

I have 2 traditional size GG1s that I'm wanting to repaint (1 in Tuscan, 1 in Green) and decal in the single wide stripe with large PRR keystone scheme.

     Do you have the measurements between the end windows on the cupola (H x W)?

     If you or any one else has that and the proper measurements for the caboose sides (length x height) we will produce these this week end. OK?

I would be interested in decals for modern 2 bay ACF hoppers. They just consist of dimensional data and reporting marks such as GATX, NAHX, TILX and CEFX. They are a common sight in these parts often transporting fracking sand. The GATX and the NAHX have large block lettering as well.

Good Afternoon Dave!

We have a project to supply two Metra F40PH engines.  MTH made them, but they are like hens teeth to find.  So we are thinking of repainting the shells, and need the correct decals for the project.

Simple white stenciling on former Conrail equipment designating "PRR" (NS) and "NYC" (CSX). You can still see on ex-CR boxcars, hopper cars, etc. I'm not sure the font or the size, but you can judge the size on the prototype. I'm particularly looking for "NYC."

I would like early Southern Pacific Lines decals for Daylight steam locomotives.  Cab numbers, locomotive data, Daylight heralds, tender numbers, tender data, and Southern Pacific Lines lettering for tenders.  The lettering for Daylight locomotives is in aluminum.
