Where are they playing today?
behind the bus station
meanwhile a lone SD60 heads into the lead track of main yard.
I realize this is "Photo Fun", but I believe a lot of us would enjoy it more if there was more captioning with everyone's pics.
There's something going on within your head when you shoot these things, please share your thoughts with your photos so there is some semblance of perspective.
When I see a pic without some comment, I feel like something is missing.
Thanks,
Fred
Not really a layout photo but just a quick few shots of my edited Cab2. I can now turn off both the engine and tender marker lights as well as have Rule 17 active on my 2-10-4. I edited the Cab2 with the new LSU software. I moved the tender marker lights to the right and then put the engine marker lights on the left.
Alex,
Wonderful amusement park! Is the train ride an HO or N gauge train?
Thanks for sharing.

Alex thanks for the nice comment's.
The train on the amusement park is an HO model
I cut the tops off the passenger car's and made flat seats and then
glued the people in.
THANKS AGAIN,ALEX
Another 2011 Christmas layout memory
Management at Waltburg Drive-In love the attention that these deer bring to their establishment.

Does the Waltburg Drive-In serve venison burgers???
Was pre-occupied with work related concerns this morning and couldn't sleep. Got up at 5:30AM and did some detailing on my campground and made my final pour of Envirotex. Next weekend, after the Envirotex is completely dry, I'll go back to making trees and finish foresting the campground and river banks.

LionelBill,
Try two 180 watt bricks in parallel into a TPC 400
That should give you the juice.

Nice video Russ. I often wondered if you guys operated during the winter.
To go along with the video and just to prove we really do take our FUN very seriously here! A snow blower, a rotary, and a spreader! Russ

Just when you think youve seen it all! I love it!
Man Cave anyone?
I just finished last night, its still a partial mess, I know I need to fix the wall (had to move one of the DVD shelves up to make room for the train shelf).
Here's a couple flat car loads I just finished.
Here's a close up on the M10. It was a major pain to rig up cables but it was worth it.
Russ. I loved the video. You folks must love to see freshly fallin' snow in the morning!! Great show.

Sitting for over a half hour waiting for the Naval Police to open the gate so my train could enter the Newport Base
The consist for today.

Some previous shots of the layout...
Here's my Lionel 0-6-0 dockside (former SP&S) lettered for it's new owner, the DT&I.
I had a friend of mine re-decal it for me (he's still working on it). I think he also painted the handrails black and installed Kadee couplers (only because the original tinplate ones disintegrated on me). So far I'm liking it. Maybe it'll get some more running time now.
