Here you go Brother Love.  The layout is 6' by 11' 2 inches.  It is built on casters to move away from the wall.  It has three lines, the upper is O36, the two lowers are O48 and O60  Fastrack.  I had lots of help from my son, loves to ballast even though it is Fastrack.  The new layout will be 28 by 12.  We are looking forward to start the new one.  The old layout had 2 small spots not yet finished, you will see them in the photos.  With what we have learned in the last 4 years in scenery I am excited to start and use the knowledge on the new one.  Nick

Love the St Johnsbury  unit , you might have had better luck with scale if you had taken a K-Line  trailer ...   I did this with several of thier Coke  trailers  paintingthem red and detailing them with a makeshift Speedway Express Ltd logo .  MTH had produced Speedway units but they were way off in the scaling of things, they are even smaller than the Lionel trailers .

I was pleased to see your unit it brought back memories of thier  operation in Montreal  back   well back then  I would not want to date us

The National Capital Trackers had a VERY busy weekend with THREE    separate shows going on this weekend in Maryland and N. Virginia. Here is the Fairfax (Va) County Fair "Celebrate Fairfax" show that runs from Friday Night, to Sunday afternoon. Over 24 hours of run time at this show alone! This weekend required serious dedication by all members as the Trackers go through their Renaissance!

Another indication of how much things have changed is their old slogan..."Schaefer is the one beer to have, when you're having more than one."  Not something that gets emphasized too much in today's "drink responsibly" world.

Mike- along that same line, I still have my Howard Johnson's semi truck model my father bought for me many years ago with the "Simple Simon" logo and quote. Today's "political correctness" police would undoubtedly take offense to  calling Simon "Simple". Today we would describe him as "Gifted Simon"

And for you Ford fans, there's nothing more romantic than an Edsel ('59?) in the rain, I

That is a 1958 Edsal Ranger, their lowest priced series.

Although Mustangs were introduced in April 1964, they were all 1965 models. Mustangs built after August 1964 had many changes from the early models.
