Here's a neat little Summer project.
A friend of mine is an big fan of the Cass Scenic RR here in WV. He wanted some excursion cars to pull behind a recently acquired Shay. Here's what we came up with. A set of MTH Overton passenger cars was the donor.
They may not be exact but IMHO I think the overall effect was pretty good.
If you're interested in a step-by-step, I've put them on my website.
Have a great weekend.

Some old photos....modular group shots.....but getting excited....we'll be exhibiting the modular layout at the Chesterfield County Fair August 23 through 31. Come and see us......and by all means introduce yourself!

Last weekend we built a nice wall cabinet for the TV and some books. My wife really likes her Blue Comet so it now sits atop the new structure. In our downsizing effort, she's offering her pair of NS Dash 9's for sale and has one of them displayed (on shelf to the left) until they depart.
A 2012 Christmas layout memory
That's my parents' house that I grew up in on the left.
That's my brother's house on the right.

Here is my Lionel Reading T-1 (6-18006; 1989) painted and detailed by Reading Steam Guru as 2124 in her Iron Horse Rambles scheme
Wowak added full working valve gear, a "mantel clock" on her air pump shield, a scale pilot coupler, a brass whistle, and two white "special" flags that Iron Horse Rambles carried.
Spring wildflower special in the picturesque Eel River Canyon. Even though it takes some getting to, this scenic canyon is a treasure house for rail fans containing 25 tunnels, 29 bridges, nine major trestles, and a menagerie of critters.
Here is pic MTH Premier PS2 Hopper. I bought this week and also pic of my Lionel Chessie U36C Engine. I painted the smoke stack silver.
I don't have a photo today just a video, I hope that's still okay!
Here are some shots from today's Greenberg Show in Monroeville, PA:
You just never know who will stop by...

Triple-headed hybrids! Going to try and get this on video tomorrow!

Fire one...fire two...
Picked up a nice Lionel Missle Firing Car. Will run it with my Orbitor Set for now but am hoping to pick up some more military/space cars soon.
Hey, Andy! By any chance is that fellow in the pink shirt in your first photo a well-known former train shop owner who endeared himself to many of his followers?
Allan, that certainly is the not so late and still great, Sir Jimmy Sutter. Seems he needed to search out some biscuits for his puppy since the "Homer Poor House" was in need of more trains again!!
Spotted from my brothers house in Cape Town yesterday an odd maintenance loco but what in more interesting is the shark in the wave on the left. Enlarge pic to see!

I had one of those. This is what I did with the tractor by adding a dump body from Berkshire Valley.
And this is what I did with the tank trailer. The tractor is an Ertl 48 Diamond T from e-bay
Those Ertl semi tractors were available separately or with trailers or van or tank bodies.. Also available were A 1950 Chevy COE a 60 Chevy and a 47 International.
