Scott - thanks for starting this thread and keeping it going each weekend throughout the year!   Happy New Year everyone!!

Here are my photos of the fun kind for this fine last weekend of the year!

Getting towed is not what the owner of the Caddy had in mind for today.  It seems that he accumulated too many unpaid parking tickets in 2021!  IMG_8233

Fireman Barney Bigard is on the tender deck officiating the water filling ceremony. fullsizeoutput_609

Buford Quigley is all set to go to work.  IMG_7274

The crew of the Free State Junction Railway wishes everyone on the OGR Forum a safe, healthy, and prosperous new year!!IMG_4935

"MOUNTAIN SPRINGS, ARKANSAS 1964...

Up on the top of the the divide at Mountain Springs, small residences appear above the train on the mountainside behind. Resident hoghead J.B. 'Biscuit' McHollister eases tired old #412 along the rails headed for the cut of cars down at the end of the 'Apple Track'. The crew will be switching out any out-bounds and re-spotting any cars still being unloaded, or being loaded, as the case may be. Soon as that's done, the #412 and crew will be heading over to the depot to go on spot for beans. Seeing as it's Saturday, the crew is hoping to catch some of the Arkansas football Razorbacks on the radio to see how they're doing in today's game. Word is the Razorbacks are in the runnin' to be National Champs this year!

And so it goes: A small slice in time on a fine autumn day in 1964 out in the Ozarks along the KC&G's 'Ozark Sub'."

About the above photo:

Basic scene snapped on my current KC&G layout at the town of Mountains Springs. I then took the photo into my photo shop software and added the autumn background as well as some foreground texturing. Not a prize winner of a photo... but I certainly enjoyed creating it and sharing it.

Hi everyone and Happy New Year, I'm back. Last year was so busy since the summer that I didn’t have enough hobbies left, now I try to continue my own Maine module track as much as possible. I have started a new module and after that there are four more left before all seven are ready.

Glad your back.   I missed seeing your MEC, BAR and B&M locomotives and rolling stock each week.

Glad to have you back Johan!  I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wish you a Happy, Healthy New Year.

The G&O had its traditional New Year's Day run.  We were operating G gauge Christmas trains.  The O gauge line is under construction and was not operational.  Here are a few photos.  NH Joe
