Got one of the layouts done for MUZEO. The museum will be responsible for skirting and a backdrop. This one is mostly Marx. Now to get the Thomas layout done.

Bing for the Canadian market ca 1920's.
It is interesting to note that the engine has holes in the driver for a screw mount to hold driving rods but they are not tapped. In addition, the headlight on this electric train is a dummy.

The ol' Photobucket update your account warning. That's certainly a scary picture for the Halloween edition! It seems to be haunting a lot places on the web! LOL
These two AF 3171 passenger cars showed up and will be restored to go with the other cars I am working on to make a 6 car set...

An uncomon variation of a typically french "autorail" nicknamed the Picasso. This one made by RV ZERO is in the color scheme of a unique one modified by the french railways, SNCF, to make an inspection railway car for personnalities of the SNCF. A very small serie from around 1995.
Have a nice tinplate weekend, Daniel

I think your right, room is 15X13 and stuffed to the rim, but I seem to keep finding ways to stick more in there. It would help if I could make myself sell a few things too though.
yup...down to moving the furnace and water heater out...

some day I hope to have a set, there was an older gentleman at York every time that I would stop and drool,i said I would buy one of his sets when I retire, sadly I haven't seen him in years, also I saw a set with a Hudson at the castle Shannon meet today (that's in Pittsburgh pa area) price was high I thought
Don't get me wrong, this set is far from perfect but it was a fair price I think, $130. I have a Hudson and tender project so I need to get busy on it. These should clean up fairly well, no major rust anywhere but lot of nicks and rubs. What I do need however, is a Hiawatha engine or parts in any crappy condition for my beater Hiawatha cars...

This arrived over the weekend. Probably more of an accessory for standard gauge or a floor train than for o-gauge. 13-inch tall street light from the Gong Bell Company. Bulb inside the red lenses works off a D-cell battery in the base that touches a steel tube inside the pole that contacts the bulb. The fire bell is inside the fire alarm box and rings when you turn the knob.
should look like new with a little restoration.
Apparently there is also an 8-inch version of the same light but it looks like the lower assembly does not screw off for a battery and it would be an AA-sized battery if it did.
