Hi Gang,

Finally back from Florida to Waban (Boston).  Happy to see my trains again.  Here are two photos whichshow some items I obtained. The first shows my latest "Biller Table" which I squeezed into my office/museum.  One of my new Kibri stations is on the table.  It is pre WWII as is another Kibri station in the cabinet behindthe table.

The second shows my new Lionel 1688 pulling original coaches 1685 and 1687. The coaches were originally produced by Ives. All sorts of reproductions can be found today.

The unloader track in the center is Technofix? or another of the 10 companies who marketed it in 15 other countries. I think I still have a few Cragstan in their OE boxes.

since my 4-8-4 is about done, I'm trying to get back to some other projects. I had 1689 out for a few runs today. This is another one of my put togethers. I put Marx 3/16 trucks on the tender to run Marx cars since they go with the gunmetal on the engine. It runs great, until I put the third car on, and then it's like Errol Flynn buttered the rails. Hope to get this sorted out.

I doubt that mine is Technofix.  It has an L as the only trademark and has "Foreign" printed on the bottom

of the track.  I also have a similar item which was definitely made in Hungary featuring an MAV steam locomotive and two box cars.  The engine switches the cars while reversing direction.

My bridge is finally done--and I've decided to name it in memory of our departed friend, Arno Baars. Here are a few shots of the finishedproduct.

Arno's dedication to toy trains certainly had a wide impact on our hobby.  I really miss him and particularly not being able to exchange emails with him on our favorite subject, MESG.  Your naming your bridge after him is a wonderful gesture!
