Here is a kline by lionel C&O steel sided refrigerator car. I bought off of www.modeltrainstuff.com.
My new NS Heritage Unit arrived a while back. Also, since it's critter week on WPF, I thought
that I 'd show another one.
Chris - Thank you for doing that. Good to know there are people out there with a heart. Restores my faith in humanity! Now, if you want two rescue dogs who are a bit "challenged" let me know!
Here is a photo from this morning. The B&O Museum's (Baltimore) large coal fired 0-4-0T at the Mt. Clair Mansion whistle-stop. The 4-2-0 Lafayette replica, built in 1927, was also running.
Roman:
WOW... NICE club layout! What scale is that? Love their scenic work especially. Give my congrats to the responsible members of that excellent scenery!!
Finally finished building my old hotel. It's all wired with lights. Just a airbrush dusting of dirt and it's done. Now I can get back to building my railroad. Don
Why is Barry popping up in all these posts???
Joe,
Why is Barry popping up in all these posts???
Sigh!
Thanks Sam. I needed to take a break from working on the layout. It started to become a job so I built the hotel. I'm ready to get cracking on the layout now. I almost have the first section done. There will be seven sections that I will take on one at a time. I'm planning of writing a piece for ORG on each section as I complete them. Don
Andre, it's very nice HO setup. Stumbled in on them as they were helping promote the local San Luis Obispo railroad days last year. Drive past their building everyday and never knew a layout was inside.
Roman:
Thanks for the reply! (The backdrops appear to be stunning, as well.)
I have a long-time virtual friend (fellow train nut) that (I think) lives near San Luis Obispo... if so, I'll bet that's the club he's referring to every now and then!
Small world!
Nice shots Bill, thanks Don
Joe,
Why is Barry popping up in all these posts???
Sigh!
Come on Barry. Fire one back, I deserve it, at the least.
Roman
Those scenes are awesome!!
Painted the floor finally . . .
Booooo Liked it better the old way
Great scenes! I'm getting really jealous. California and this layout. Please don't say southern Cal too. Lucky.......
Escaped cluttered & crazy SoCal 23 years ago and moved to Central Coast above Santa Barbara.
These guys have definitely put some great effort into their layout. I'm jealous of their great modeling skills.

NS 21M -
CSAO OI16 in my old Jersey stomping grounds -
CSAO MA1 on the Lehigh Line -
The day after I got back home, NS 337 had the N&W GEVO on it -
Found this at NJ yard sale for 21$
Lionel 1060, 1060T & unmarked SP Caboose - Perfect to finish making up on my generic '60s uncataloged sets -
My last 'find' on my trip turned out to be a kitten!
On my way back home, I stopped in Duncannon, PA to shoot the bridge again. While setting up my gear, I hear a crying sound down by the bottom of the bridge, near the river. I walked down there & there was this kitten in a box! After I brought her back up to track level I expected her to run off. Nope! She was so friendly! Climbing all over me, sitting on my head! I tried to call 2 shelters in PA, but neither would take her. I couldn't leave her there, as I knew she wouldn't survive. So she took the 9 hour car ride back with me! Vet gave her a clean bill of health & said she's about 2 months old. Lucia named her Abby & now she is part of our family
Great Pics all.
The youngest is 5 this week and his party is today. When asked what he would like.
He asked for a Santa Fe cake and money to spend in the train shop when we visit the states in a couple of weeks.
Friend of my Wife did a fantastic job on the cake
Here's a few pics of the latest progress on our layout
Have a great weekend
Nick
Running the 1060 around our modest, but portable and improving little layout.
Just installed the grade crossing. Next up is painting the green plastic barrel loader that came with my old Workin' on the Railroad set. My son was delighted to see it in a catalog and said "We have that!"
Here's another of the Aerotrain over the Sherman's Creek Bridge along with Christopher's prototype shot for a direct comparison. Note under the farthest span to the left in the prototype photo and to the right on mine, the mudbank that has built up in the stream. I was careful to include this in my model to represent the prototype as closely as possible. There are a bunch of beached logs as well as a family fishing...a Woodland Scenics figure set.
BTW, though I keeping meaning to post it as a separate thread, how many times has MTH released the Aerotrain? Is it 3 or 4? And between all the releases and the add on cars, are all 10 car numbers available?
AGHRMatt, I know of nice little place in another state you could move. The people are really friendly and the weather is the best. I hear there is only one three rail guy there. He's in a county called Mooey, Modey, no it's Maui. Hear tell he's building a bid layout. There are direct flights every morning from Southern Cal. There's even a steam train still running there. I think you'd like it. Don

Happy 5th Birthday to your son Mason, Nick. Beautiful cake.
Roger, believe me, if you moved here you would see more of your family than you ever saw before. Don
I think Christopher2035 has found a new LOGO for the CHESSIE SYSTEM.
This cat looks very similar to our cat and we were told it is called a MAINE COON CAT.
It has the "M" on the forehead. The MAINE COON CAT also will have large paws to help support it when walking on deep snow and will have fur beyween its individual toes to help keep the feet warm.
Work day today for the River City 3 Railers in my garage. Hot sunny weather is perfect for ballasting!
The yard is done and another module started.
This week we got a donation of 2 Tinplate O gauge set. Both are headed by 224's, and one is Gunmetal. The engines are out for service.
Here are the sets:
They are in excellent shape and a generous donation!
Included is 2 double crossovers and an American Flyer operating water tower.
